• Photos from Christmas Eve dinner at Farmers Fishers Bakers in Georgetown. Food was good, service was slow, but the experience was enjoyable overall once the restaurant admitted dropping the ball with the entrees. Of the three main course dishes, the steak frites was incredibly under cooked and the farmer’s pizza was burned so they re-made it. I went with the special of the day and had no problems: pan-seared mahi mahi encrusted with farmer’s spice, topped with chipotle butter, served with grits and vegetables. They comped us an extra glass of wine and dulce de leche (served with secret breakfast ice cream over cornflakes) for desert. Appetizers were crab dip and calamari. Post-meal we walked a little on the boardwalk and had a nice view of the Kennedy Center. Happy Holidays!
