Let me be the first among the tumblrs I follow to say Happy Mother’s Day. My mom is truly one of my best friends and I am so grateful that we are as close as we are. I am thankful every day to have her love, support, and guidance. We are a product of the environment we are raised in so I am lucky to have had such a strong, independent, and cheerful woman to show me the world. I look forward to every memory we will share together in the future. This photo of me with my arm around my Mother is from one of the most important days of my life: she and I graduated from the same prep school and share the same class colors.
